The Roulez Vert Program from the Government of Quebec offers a $600 rebate for the purchase and installation of a new Level 2 (240 volt) residential charging station.

The 4,500 charging station subsidy program, led by Hydro-Québec, offers financial assistance to municipalities to cover expenses related to the purchase and installation of on-street charging stations up to $24,000 per station.

There are assistance programs and subsidies for the acquisition of charging stations by Quebec businesses and organizations.

• The Financial assistance for a workplace charging station program, initiated by the Government of Quebec, offers a rebate that can cover up to 50% of expenses related to the purchase or rental and installation of charging stations, up to a maximum of $5,000 per wireless charging station.

• The Transportez vert – Direct current fast charging station program, led by the Government of Quebec, provides a maximum financial assistance of $150,000 per establishment for the same fiscal year, to facilitate the acquisition and installation of direct current fast charging stations (DCFC).

• Some municipalities offer additional financial assistance to businesses for the installation of commercial charging stations to promote the deployment of a public electric charging network in their territory. Don't hesitate to contact your municipality to find out if financial assistance is available or to suggest an addition to this list.

Thanks to subsidy programs, electric charging is accessible to owners as well as tenants of a multi-unit building or condominium.

• The Roulez Vert Program – Multi-family charging station program, initiated by the Government of Quebec, offers financial assistance covering 50% of installation costs or $5,000 per rented or new station intended for owners or tenants of a building with more than 5 units.

• Some municipal subsidies for the acquisition of a residential charging station also apply to multi-family buildings. We invite you to contact your municipality to find out if it offers financial assistance :

Subsidy programs for the acquisition of charging stations and electric vehicles are specifically dedicated to school transport organizations :

• Financial assistance for the purchase of an electric school bus (component 1), initiated by the Government of Quebec, includes a base amount of $150,000 per electric school bus and $175,000 for school buses with a battery capacity of 155 kWh or more.

• Financial assistance for the acquisition and installation of charging infrastructure for electric school buses (component 2), led by the Government of Quebec, provides a rebate of up to 75% of eligible expenses incurred, up to $10,000 per Level 2 alternating current charging station and $30,000 per direct current charging station.

• The Financial assistance for a workplace charging station program, initiated by the Government of Quebec, offers a rebate that can cover up to 50% of expenses related to the purchase or rental and installation of charging stations, up to a maximum of $5,000 per wireless charging station.
